I earned my Masters of Education in Art Education and my Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. What I love most about teaching is sharing my passion for the arts the arts to build community and enrich my students' lives through  meaningful creativity.

This is my first year at Royersford Elementary School in Spring-Ford School District, but my thirteenth year teaching art. Previously, I taught Kindergarten - 6th Grade Art for nine years and before that I taught 7th -12th Grade Art for three years at Antietam School District.  During the Summer I teach Summer Art Camp at Historic Yellow Springs, and I have also taught at the Wayne Art Center and Phoenix Village Art Center,

As an artist, I enjoy working with a variety of art media especially paint and collage. I have a strong background in crafts because of my experience working at art centers and with local artists. I have completed several public and private murals including: chalk mural at Brewed Awakening Coffee Shop, mountain mural at the Antietam High School, and 4 collaborative murals at the Antietam Pool,

Outside of school my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and our dog. We love to go for hikes on local trails and explore nature. I like to stay active during my free time, and in college I played women's rugby.
